Atlantic Blue Canvas Trunk Show. On Saturday, April 13 from 9:00 - 11:00, join us at Needle Arts to welcome Caroline of Atlantic Blue Canvas. She will be in the shop with a trunk show of her beautiful canvases. Meet Caroline and enjoy a 20% trunk show discount.
Stitch Social. Come join us for a little informal stitching and socializing. The stitch doctor will be in (if you're needing a little help). As always, bring your current project (knit, crochet, needlepoint or really anything else) to work on and your beverage of choice. No reservation required.
Tuesdays, April 2, April 9, April 16, April 23, and April 30 @ 5:30 - 7:30.
Knit Rx. Is your project in time out. Do you have mistake(s) you can't fix or a technique you can't master. Reserve some time to get some help and get back on track. There is no fee if a significant portion of the materials were purchased at Needle Arts. For all other projects, there is a minimum fee of $10 for up to 15 minutes of help, and $40 per hour thereafter.
Wednesdays, April 10 and May 8 @ 1:00 - 3:00.
Toe-Up Socks. (Re-Scheduled) Learn how to make socks from the toe up. This class covers the options for cast on and heel when you knit a sock from the toe-up. Once you go toe-up, you'll never go back! Class Fee $40.00. Materials to be purchased separately at Needle Arts.

Make a Garment Knit-A-Long. Do you want to move on to knitting garments? Anxious about your success? Join us for this open ended garment knit-a-long. We'll be working through the whole process step-by-step. Topics covered include selecting the right pattern for you, selecting the right yarn for your pattern, how to knit your swatch, how to measure our swatches, select the right size to follow in your pattern, and more. We'll continue to meet every few weeks for help and moral support. Drop in any time. There is no fee for this knit-a-long, but please purchase your materials from Needle Arts.

Beginning Needlepoint. Learn the recommended method of tent stitch... Basketweave Stitch in one session. Price includes canvas (your choice of Mardi Gras flag or Nola flag), threads, project bag, scissors, and instruction booklet. Class fee $75.00.
Wednesday, May 1 or Wednesday May 8 @ 5:30 - 7:00.
Beginning Crochet. Learn to crochet. This class iincludes two sessions. In the first session, learn the basic stitches of crochet, including chain, single crochet and double crochet, while making a washcloth/sampler. In the second session, put those basic stitches to work and learn the techniques necessary to make the ever popular "granny square". Class Fee $40.00. Materials to be purchased separately at Needle Arts.
